Our Team

Pure Coastal Honey is a collaboration grounded in trust, learning, and a shared love of bees. Each of us brings different strengths, working together to nurture healthy colonies and create honey that tells the story of where it comes from.

Jamie Martin

Jamie is the beekeeper behind Pure Coastal Honey, managing the apiaries and overseeing all aspects of hive care, honey production, and educational outreach.

What began as a passion for keeping bees has grown into a commitment to supporting both bees and beekeepers. Alongside producing small-batch, unblended honey, Jamie is actively involved in beekeeper education, biosecurity awareness, and sharing practical knowledge gained through real-world experience.

His interests extend beyond honey production to bee health, varroa management, pollinator education, and the role technology can play in supporting modern beekeeping. Through articles, community involvement, and projects such as HiveCast AI, he aims to make beekeeping information more accessible and useful for beekeepers at all stages of their journey.

For Jamie, beekeeping is both a craft and a responsibility — caring for pollinators, producing honest local food, and helping build a stronger, more informed beekeeping community.
