McLeans Ridges
Our McLeans Ridges apiary sits in the elevated hinterland of the Northern Rivers, where rolling hills and fertile red soils support a mix of macadamia orchards, grazing land and seasonal pasture. This higher-altitude site experiences slightly cooler nights and reliable rainfall, encouraging steady nectar flows and extended flowering periods. Macadamia blossom provides a strong seasonal build-up, while clover-rich pastures and seasonal fireweed offer additional nectar and pollen sources. Surrounding native species such as spotted gum, paperbark and ironbark in nearby bushland corridors further diversify the forage profile. The result is a smooth, well-rounded hinterland honey that reflects the layered agricultural and native landscape of McLeans Ridges.
